Rep. August Pfluger, representing Texas' 11th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021, has been vocal on social media regarding his legislative initiatives and political stance. Pfluger recently shared updates on his efforts to counteract what he describes as a "war on energy" initiated by former President Biden, as well as other aspects of his political agenda.

On February 11, 2025, Rep. Pfluger announced via Twitter the introduction of his bill aimed at reversing policies related to energy production under the Biden administration. He stated: " WATCH: My bill is the FIRST step Congress has taken to reverse Biden's war on energy. This morning, I joined @MariaBartiromo on @MorningswithMaria to discuss my Protecting American Energy Production Act."

The following day, February 12, 2025, Rep. Pfluger tweeted a message emphasizing resilience and commitment to his political goals despite adverse weather conditions in Texas. He wrote: "Goodnight Texas-11. Even a little snow won’t slow down the America First agenda! "

On February 13, 2025, Rep. Pfluger highlighted a meeting with U.S. Energy Secretary Wright during a Republican Study lunch at Capitol Hill where they discussed future strategies for American energy independence. He expressed confidence in moving beyond past approaches under Biden's administration: "Former President Biden took a 'whole of government' approach to wage war on American energy. Those days are over."
