Rep. August Pfluger, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Texas’ 11th district, has recently shared his views on various issues through a series of tweets. Pfluger, who succeeded Mike Conaway in 2021, continues to voice his opinions on national and international matters.

On February 20, 2025, Rep. Pfluger expressed his dismay over an incident involving hostages in Gaza. He stated: "Four innocent hostages were murdered in cold blood by Hamas while in captivity, and today, the barbaric terrorist organization proceeded to parade the victims' bodies through the streets of Gaza before returning them to Israel." He described the event as "utterly heartbreaking."

Later that day, at 16:50 UTC, Rep. Pfluger commented on President Biden's handling of border issues. He tweeted: "Remember when Biden blamed Republicans for HIS border crisis, claiming that he could not address the issue on his own? Well, it turns out that he could have ended it all along... Thank you,@POTUS for continuing to put the safety of Americans first."

In another tweet posted at 22:48 UTC on February 20th, Rep. Pfluger highlighted what he perceives as achievements under President Trump's administration after one month in office. He remarked: "ONE MONTH OF PRESIDENT TRUMP It has only been one month since President Trump took office and has already achieved significant victories for the American people! @POTUS is charging full steam ahead to restore safety and common sense in America."
