On January 28, 2025, Rep. Pfluger referenced a statement from a press briefing regarding Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activities. "REPORTER: 'Of the 3,500 arrests ICE has made so far... how many have a criminal record?' @PressSec: 'All of them, because they illegally broke our nation's laws and therefore, they are criminals.' THIS is putting America First "
Later that day, Rep. Pfluger highlighted the efforts of ICE under President Trump’s administration. "Promises made, promises kept @ICEgov has already made over 3,500 arrests of illegal aliens during President Trump's first week back in office. Under President Trump, illegal immigration will NOT be tolerated, and I will fight alongside him to protect Americans!"
On January 29, 2025, Rep. Pfluger announced the signing of new legislation by President Trump. "President Trump just signed the Laken Riley Act into law!
