Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement.
On November 24, 2020, the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Chick-fil-A.Chick-fil-A Brownwood, located on East Commerce Street next to Lednicky Park, opened for business on Thursday, Nov. 5. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Bridget Jones as the franchise owner of the newest Chick-fil-A restaurant in Central Texas. A native of Brownwood, Jones oversees day-to-day activities of the business, employing approximately 110 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses, and serving Guests. Chick-fil-A Brownwood is located at 500 E. Commerce St. and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
“Serving the Brownwood community means so much to my family, and we are excited to give back to the community that made us who we are. The local saying goes, ‘Brownwood Feels Like Home,’ but for us, Brownwood really is home,” said Jones. “We look forward to becoming a community hub and a premier employer in Brownwood, where people can enjoy good food in a welcoming environment.”
