Rep. August Pfluger, a U.S. Congress member representing Texas’ 11th district since 2021, has recently shared a series of viewpoints on legislative actions and appointments.
On April 10, 2025, Rep. Pfluger expressed support for a newly introduced piece of legislation aimed at ensuring the exclusivity of American elections for American citizens. In an April 10 post, he stated, "American elections are only for American citizens, plain and simple. I applaud my friend and fellow Texan @RepChipRoy for leading this critical legislation ." In a subsequent post later the same day, Rep. Pfluger announced his vote in favor of the SAVE Act, which seeks to prevent noncitizens from participating in U.S. elections. "I just voted YES to pass @RepChipRoy’s SAVE Act to prevent noncitizens from voting in U.S. elections ," he tweeted on April 10, 2025.
Later that day, Rep. Pfluger expressed his enthusiasm for Rep. Elise Stefanik returning to Capitol Hill as the Chairwoman of House Republican Leadership. He tweeted, "Thrilled to have @RepStefanik back on Capitol Hill as the Chairwoman of House Republican Leadership. Elise is a good friend and the exact kind of strong conservative leader we need to help advance President Trump's agenda in the 119th Congress!"
