Rep. August Pfluger tweets support for President Biden and legislative priorities in April 2025

Representative August Pfluger, a U.S. Congress member serving Texas’ 11th district, has made several statements on social media regarding recent legislative matters and political sentiments. Rep. Pfluger has been involved in the U.S. Congress since 2021, succeeding former member Mike Conaway.

On April 8, 2025, Rep. Pfluger expressed his support for President Biden by tweeting "Well said, @POTUS! This is once again promises made, promises kept ". The tweet was indicative of the representative's agreement with the president's actions or statements.

The following day, on April 9, 2025, Rep. Pfluger announced his collaboration with fellow Republican Study member, Rep. Darrell Issa. In his tweet, he stated, "I joined my friend and fellow @RepublicanStudy member @repdarrellissa to explain why we must pass the No Rogue Rulings Act today in @FoxNewsOpinion" and provided a link for further reading.

On April 10, 2025, Rep. Pfluger addressed the topic of election integrity. He tweeted, "Every American should want to safeguard our elections and ensure only citizens can vote in and influence them. This is why voting for the SAVE Act today should be a simple, bipartisan, yes vote for all Members of Congress.". This reveals his stance on ensuring electoral processes are secured and calls for bipartisan support for the SAVE Act.

Representing Texas’s 11th district since 2021, Rep. Pfluger was born in Houston, Texas, in 1978 and currently resides in San Angelo.
