Rep. August Pfluger, who represents Texas’ 11th district in the U.S. Congress, shared his views on several issues via Twitter recently. Pfluger, who has been serving since 2021 after succeeding Mike Conaway, commented on border security, energy policies, and governance practices.
On March 12, Rep. Pfluger expressed support for President Biden's actions regarding national borders. He stated "Promises made, promises kept! @POTUS is making our borders secure again. America is safer because of his leadership!"
The following day, March 13, he celebrated a development in American energy policy by stating " A MASSIVE WIN for American energy! @epaleezeldin is taking critical steps toward restoring common sense to our environmental policies. For too long, burdensome mandates have stifled American energy production, driven up costs, and undermined our economic competitiveness."
Later that same day, Rep. Pfluger critiqued the Democratic party’s approach to governance with the remark "Democrats are threatening the very thing they have said for years is irresponsible governing. Ironic, isn't it?"
