There were 1,057 students enrolled in Eastland ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 2.5% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.6% of them were boys, and 49.4% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 67.9% of the Eastland ISD total enrollment.

Eastland ISD roughly covers schools within Eastland County with its main office in Eastland.

Among the three schools in Eastland ISD, Siebert Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of 491 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
