There were 321 students enrolled in Graford ISD schools in the 2021-22 school year, 1.6% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 52.6% of them were girls, and 47.4% were boys.

Data also shows that the majority of students were white, representing 81% of the Graford ISD total enrollment.

Graford ISD roughly covers schools within Palo Pinto County with its main office in Graford.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
