City of Mineral Wells issued the following announcement.
The City of Mineral Wells and Palo Pinto County will hold the annual City/County Fall Clean Up Day on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Mineral Wells Residents ONLY will go to: 2700 US Hwy. 281 South
located behind the Animal Shelter - must bring water bill & driver’s license
All County Residents will go to:
Respective Precinct Barns
for County Information call (940) 659-1210
TIRES will ONLY be accepted at the Dempsey Heliport site
$1.00 charge per tire up to 17” / over 17” is $3.00 per tire
Checks should be made payable to “Palo Pinto County”
ELECTRONIC RECYCLING
Computers, TVs, Office Machines, Small Appliances, Cell Phones
ALL ACTUAL TRASH MUST BE BAGGED
THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED:
Commercial or Business Items, Shingles, Boats, Cars, Paint, Batteries, Medical or Bio-Hazard Products
For Mineral Wells Residents – Free Bulk Item Curb Pickup is available year round through Waste Connections. For more information regarding Bulk Item Pickup, please contact Waste Connections at (940) 328-1176. Standard Recycling Drop Off of paper/cardboard, metal, and plastic is available year round at the City’s Convenience Station located at 401 FM 2256. For more information regarding Recycling Drop Off, contact Public Works at (940) 328-7777.
