Enrollment at Dublin ISD schools increased by 5.2% compared to previous school year

There were 1,146 students enrolled in Dublin ISD schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.2% more than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 50.4% of them were boys, and 49.6% were girls.

Data also shows that the majority of students were Hispanic, representing 61.3% of the Dublin ISD total enrollment.

Dublin ISD roughly covers schools within Erath County with its main office in Dublin.

Among the three schools in Dublin ISD, Dublin High School recorded the highest enrollment of 489 students in the 2022-23 school year.

The Texas education system is currently torn between public schools and taxpayer-funded private schools.

Critics argue that private schools use funds that should go to the public school system, while private school advocates claim they’re offering better education for more Texas students.
