76.4% of Palo Pinto County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 28,303 citizens living in Palo Pinto County in 2021, 76.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 21,630 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 10,542 were male, constituting 48.7%, and 11,088 were female, making up 51.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Palo Pinto County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 74.2%.
