City of Mineral Wells issued the following announcement on May 27.
The City of Mineral Wells is accepting applications for positions on the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 2 Board of Directors.
Please submit your application to the City Clerk. Applications are considered active for one year.
The Mineral Wells Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Board of Directors is the governing body for the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Two. A tax increment reinvestment zone (TIRZ) is a political subdivision of a municipality or county in the state of Texas created to implement tax increment financing. The board consists of nine members with two-year terms. The board meets as needed.
Applications may be found here. Applications may also be picked up in the City Clerk’s Office, 115 S.W. 1st Street, Mineral Wells, TX 76067.
